100% Foundation Level Exam Pass Rate at Intel
RBCS recently delivered its ISTQB-accredited Test Engineering Foundation course for a class of 21 people at Intel in the United States. We're proud to say that every attendee passed the exam. Rex Black, RBCS President, said, "RBCS has been teaching ISTQB Foundation courses for about five years now, and we've had literally thousands of people around the world take our course. While our pass rates are usually better-than-average, it's quite gratifying to have a 100% pass rate in a class of this size, particularly since the exam difficulty was increased in January 2008. We at RBCS are proud that our fine instructor, Judy McKay, and our materials proved helpful to these dedicated Intel employees in reaching this milestone."

RBCS has Two Perfect Scores
In the last two weeks, RBCS has run two Test Engineering Foundation Courses, one for our client, CA, and another, publicly. In each of these courses, one well-prepared attendee scored the elusive perfect grade, 100%. Laurel Becker, RBCS Vice President, said, "A score of 100% is spectacular, not to mention rare! It's another nice plus that we had a 100% pass rate in our public course."

We are proud to announce the accreditation of our new ISTQB Advanced Test Manager course by the ASTQB, based on the new Advanced syllabus. RBCS was the first to submit this course and the first to be accredited by the ASTQB. We offer this course both in instructor-led and e-learning formats.

ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst course accredited by ASTQB
We are proud to announce the accreditation of our new ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst course by the ASTQB, based on the new Advanced syllabus. RBCS was the first to submit this course and the first to be accredited by the ASTQB. We offer this course both in instructor-led and e-learning formats. In addition, we have already submitted our ISTQB Advanced Test Manager course for accreditation by the ASTQB, and we hope to have that completed soon.

Transition Plan to Advanced Level Syllabus 2007
On October 12, 2007 the ISTQB General Assembly released the new Advanced Level Syllabus. Effective July 1, 2008, all Advanced Level exams will run against the new syllabus. Please view our RBCS Training Page for more information.

Rex Black Re-elected
At the quarterly ISTQB meeting at Dusseldorf, Germany, Rex Black was re-elected to a second term as ISTQB President. Commenting on his election, Rex said, “In the next two years I intend to strengthen the quality and consistency of ISTQB exams around the world, help all ISTQB national boards reach their full potential, and add another 100,000 certified testers to the total number of people who have passed our foundation exam.”
